Autumn Leaves Backlit by the Sun

We had visited Hardraw Force, a stunning waterfall in Wensleydale which is accessed by walking through a Victorian park in the gorge. I happened to look up and see these trees showing their autumn colours illuminated by the low sun as we walked back to the cafe and pub at the start. It was as if they were lit by lightbulbs, and a great contrast to the dark gorge below the cliffs.
